How to Add Datasources to New Grafana Organizations in the United Manufacturing Hub

For this guide to work, you will need a fully installed United Manufacturing Hub Stack.

1. Open Grafana and navigate to Server-Admin → Org.

   

   • If you don't have an organization set up already, create a new one.

     

2. Check the ID of the organization you want to add the datasources to.

3. Open OpenLens and load up your cluster.

4. Navigate to Helm → Releases

   

5. Click the upgrade button for united-manufacturing-hub

   

6. In the release chart, look for the datasources tab for Grafana. It should contain two lists, starting with "access: proxy" each.

   

7. Copy the datasources lines below and replace the orgId in the copied lines with the orgId of the organization you want to add the datasources to.

   

8. Click on upgrade and then close.

9. Restart the Grafana pod.

10. Your second organization now has the datasources as datasources.
