2.2.3 Actuators
Actuators transfer the commands of the PLC into the physical world, e.g. through heating/cooling elements or motors.
When sensors can be seen as the eyes and ears for the machine process, then actuators can be seen as the arms and legs of the machine.
In this video you will learn a lot about the different types of actuators. At the end you should be able to differentiate between linear and circular actuators, as well as between electric, pneumatic and hydraulic ones.
